ANNUAL POINSETTIA SALE: Help us beautify the sanctuary on Christmas Eve and remember loved ones or honor someone special with the purchase of a poinsettia that will decorate the church. The cost is the same as last year: $12.00 each for a beautiful 6” potted red poinsettia. You may pick up your plant after the 9 pm Christmas Eve service, or leave it in the sanctuary to be enjoyed. Fill out the order form that will be inserted in Sunday worship bulletins and include cash or a check (made out to Fayetteville United Methodist Church) and place it in the offering at Sunday worship service. You can also call the church office to make an order and drop off the payment there, or send it via mail.

HEIFER PROJECT THANKS: As of this printing, during the past 2 Sundays just under $2,000 in “alternative gifts” for Christmas were purchased in support of Heifer Project International. With so many requests for “gifts” at this time of year, I am always overwhelmed by the support Heifer receives from this congregation year after year.  A heartfelt “thank you” from me and from the families around the world who will be empowered by your generosity.  ~ Judy Smith

BACKPACK MINISTRY: December’s recipient is a man of medium build. It’s getting cold and winter things would be appreciated. Look for the backpack in the Narthex.
